Curved text

Curved text places text along an arc or circle. It is useful for creating badges, seals, logos, and other dynamic designs where text should follow a curved path.

How to enable curved text

Curved text is available for all text elements in the Robolly editor. To enable it, select your text element and check Curved text in the right panel. Then select Arc or Circle as the curve type.

For arc text, use the Bend control to adjust the curve strength and direction. Negative values bend the text downward and positive values bend it upward.

Using curved text with auto-sizing

Curved text supports the Auto-sizing area mode. When enabled, Robolly automatically adjusts the font size to fit the text along the selected curve. Circle text fills the available circular path, while arc text fits within the available arc and text area.

Switch to Fixed area mode to adjust the font size manually. Inline and Auto-height modes are not available for curved text because changing the text area's dimensions would also change the curve.
