Privacy Policy
Introduction
When using Robolly ("Service") you consent to the collection, transfer, storage, disclosure, and use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.
Personal information
- When you sign up for Robolly, we ask for your name, and email address. That’s just so you can personalize your new account, and we can send you invoices, updates, or other essential information. We’ll never sell your personal info to third parties.
- When you pay for Robolly, we ask for your credit card. That’s so we can charge you for service and send you invoices. Your credit card is passed directly to our payment processor and doesn’t ever go through our servers.
- When you write to Robolly with a question or to ask for help, we’ll keep that correspondence, and the email address, for future reference. We also store any information you volunteer, like surveys, for as long as we need.
- The Service may automatically collect information about your computer hardware and software (including your IP address, browser type, domain names, geolocation data or access times).
- We may store your data (including your images) on servers provided by third party hosting vendors.
- We may disclose your information to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.
Google User Data
Robolly interacts with Google user data through two features: the Robolly Google Sheets Add-on ("Add-on") and Google Sign-In for account authentication. This section describes how Robolly accesses, uses, stores, and protects Google user data in compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Data Accessed — When you sign in with Google, Robolly receives your name, email address, profile picture URL, and locale from your Google account. The Add-on accesses: (1) Google Sheets data — column headers and cell values from the currently open spreadsheet, used as dynamic parameters for image rendering; (2) Google Drive (app-created files only) — the Add-on creates folders and uploads rendered image files to your Google Drive when you choose the "Save to Drive" output option.
- Data Usage — Google Sign-In data is used solely to create and authenticate your Robolly account. Spreadsheet cell values you select are sent to the Robolly API solely to generate rendered images based on your chosen template. Google Drive access is used only to save those rendered images to a folder in your Drive. Robolly does not use Google user data for advertising, analytics, market research, or any purpose unrelated to providing the core functionality described above.
- Data Sharing — The cell values you map as template parameters are transmitted to Robolly's servers (api.robolly.com) to render images. No Google user data is shared with any other third party. Robolly does not sell, license, or disclose your Google user data to any third parties for any purpose.
- Data Storage & Protection — Google Sign-In data (name, email, profile picture URL, and locale) is stored in Robolly's database as part of your account record. Your Robolly API key and Add-on configuration are stored in Google Apps Script's User Properties, which reside on Google's infrastructure and are accessible only to you. Robolly does not persistently store the spreadsheet data sent during rendering; it is used only to process the image request and is discarded after the image is generated. All communication between Robolly's services and Google is encrypted via TLS.
- Data Retention & Deletion — Google Sign-In data is retained as part of your account for as long as your account is active; it is deleted when you delete your account. Spreadsheet data sent via the Add-on is not retained beyond the duration of a single image-rendering request. You can disconnect your Robolly account from the Add-on at any time using the "Disconnect" button in the sidebar, which deletes your stored API key and configuration. You may also revoke Robolly's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account permissions page. To request deletion of any data associated with your Robolly account, contact us at support@robolly.com.
- Limited Use Disclosure — Robolly's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Security
All data is encrypted via SSL/TLS when transmitted from our servers to your browser. However, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed as totally secure. While we strive to protect such information we do not warrant and cannot ensure the security of information which you transmit to us.

Data Retention
We retain your account information and associated data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data from our production systems within a reasonable timeframe. Residual copies may persist in encrypted database backups for a limited period necessary for disaster recovery purposes. We may also retain data where required for legal or regulatory purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@robolly.com.
Changes & Conclusion
Robolly may update this policy, we’ll notify you about significant changes by emailing you or by placing temporary notice on our site. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, contact us at support@robolly.com.
